How to setup 2FA for loging into your account
MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) and 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) provide an extra layer of security for your Stiply account.
When this feature is enabled, you will need to enter a verification code, sent to your mobile phone, in addition to your password when logging in. This ensures that only authorized users can access your account, even if someone knows your password.
Why Use MFA / 2FA?
By default, signing in only requires your username and password. If someone learns your password, they could potentially access your account.
Enabling MFA / 2FA means a second verification step is required, making it significantly harder for unauthorized people to log in.
Benefits include:
-
Extra security: Adds a second proof of identity beyond your password.
-
Protected data: Reduces the risk of account compromise due to password theft or phishing.
-
Peace of mind: Provides stronger protection for your Stiply workflows and information.
How to Enable MFA / 2FA in Stiply
Enabling MFA / 2FA is straightforward and only takes a few steps:
-
Log in to your Stiply account.
-
Go to Account Settings (click your name in the top-right, then My Settings).
-
Under the Profile section, look for “Enable two-factor authentication” and switch it to Yes.
-
You will be prompted to add your mobile phone number, this is required for receiving verification codes by SMS.
-
From the same screen, you can also link your login to Microsoft if desired.
Once set up, you will be asked to enter a short code sent via SMS each time you log in. This code verifies your identity and gives you access to Stiply.
